Healing Broken Vessels, Inc. (HBV) is a non profit 501 (c) (3) organization founded by Diantha S. McLeod in January of 2010. This organization addresses the needs of unskilled non-professional and economically disadvantaged women in Wilson County, by providing essential educational services such as: computer, life development skills and other supportive services.
Healing Broken Vessels wanted to increase their brand presence online, in a single solution that was flexible enough to allow the individual programs to have a unique expression.
Everything had to be as low a cost as possible, as a non-profit, Healing Broken Vessels is always looking for a good value for the money they spend.
DKDouglas Consulting's Web Consulting team worked from the ground up to create a new identity for Healing Broken Vessels while still utilizing existing color schemes. The site was custom designed by our UX team and then coded for Umbraco 7 by our development staff. SEO capabilities were implemented into the solution making it easy for search engines to pick up the new content being delivered by the staff at the center. Facebook and other Social Media outlets were integrated for people to click through and follow the site.
This custom developed website provides an easy way for staff to update news, public events and allow for people to donate. Since deploying the site, Healing Broken Vessels has reached page 1 on google for the SEO terms they were looking for and Social Media engagement has increased significantly.
